Before & After-School Care
The before and after-school care program at Minnetonka Christian Academy serves students in pre-k through tenth grade. MCA provides a fun, safe, Christ-centered environment where students are engaged and can interact with others. There is a fee for after-school care, which is billed as part of the monthly tuition statements.
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE
Complimentary morning care is offered each weekday morning to MCA families. Students may attend before-school care free of charge every morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. until classes begin for the day. Morning care is supervised by staff members who are committed to providing a fun, caring, and safe setting for students. The program is held in the school gallery. Daily activities include gym time and free play.
All Students: Mon-Fri from 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.
AFTER SCHOOL CARE
The after-school program provides students with a relaxing and nurturing space after classes are over for the day until 5:30 p.m. This is a fee-based program; parents may enroll for flexible care for one, two, three, or four days after school. After-school care is not an enrichment program. It is less structured than the regular school day, offering a variety of mixed-age group activities, gym time, outdoor play, snacks, as well as quiet time for homework, independent reading, and games. The program is supervised by staff members who are committed to providing a fun, caring, and safe setting.
Offered: Mon-Thu from 3:15 – 5:30 p.m.
Closed: The program does not offer care on Fridays.
Fees: $6.00/hour/1 student or $10.00/hour (for two or more students)
